A private commission i recently completed. Inspired by beautiful and complex coral reefs, the piece was hand cut over about 3-4 days from 170gsm acid free paper stock. The piece is 29cm x 21cm in size.
I was recently commissioned to create a festive window Installation for the beautiful Oriel Mostyn Gallery in Llandudno, Wales. The work will be installed on the 28th of October and will be part of a the Mostyn's opening of new works around in the gallery on the 19th of November. The work will be a beautiful 'ice cavern' constructed from hand cut paper patterns and sculpted paper structures. The Images above are a few of the test pieces i have created.

Andy Singleton is a paper artist and illustrator based in Wakefield, England.
He Studied Animation with illustration at Manchester Metropolitan University, graduating in 2006.
His work is an exploration of the natural and manmade world through intricate paper cuttings, paper sculpture and hand drawn illustrations.
